Frequently Asked Questions & Important Information

Our Financial Coaching & Education

No, they aren’t, but we have both! Mortgage advice is when you receive advice on mortgage products that is regulated by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) and must be provided by a licensed mortgage adviser. Financial coaching and education are unregulated and does not need to be provided by a licensed mortgage adviser. When you receive financial coaching and education at Futurebound, you’ll increase your financial knowledge and get support to create and stick to your financial plans. When you’re ready to implement your plan, you’ll work with our mortgage advisers to choose the best mortgage products for your situation to help you reach your goals.

The Futurebound Academy is a 12-month membership programme designed to give you full access to all our financial coaching and education. You’ll get financial coaching and support to help you complete our signature Building Wealth With Property Jumpstarter online course. Plus, you’ll get access to all our mini-courses, in-person events, summits and everything that we do during your membership. Learn more about the Futurebound Academy here.

The simple answer is it depends. If you’re working with our mortgage advisers, the lender you secure your mortgage with usually pays for the service. However, sometimes lenders don’t cover all the costs of our mortgage advice service, so you might need to pay a portion of the service fees. Unfortunately, lenders don’t cover any of the cost of us supporting you with financial coaching and education. Therefore, all financial coaching and education will need to be covered by you. We have payment options for whatever you need to help keep all cost affordable.
